Barb Sheppard's whimsical 50's and 60's-inspired frame bags are handcrafted from vintage fabrics, frequently salvaged from irrepairably damaged garments. Each bag is truly unique, as there's typically just enough of any given fabric to make one purse only. All handbags are fully lined with zippered interior compartments; larger bags are footed and have leather handles (usually recycled from belts.) Smaller bags have black fabric handles. All bags have removable brooches. All the work that goes into these bags is done by Barb herself, apart from the occasional fabric contribution from yours truly. They range from $35 for the smaller bags to $75 for the large ones and can be obtained at the location mentioned above (outside of Columbus, e-mail to see images of current offerings.)
